八達通卡有限公司聲明

（香港，2021年6月28日）八達通卡有限公司（八達通）就近日網上流傳有關以八達通卡領取政府電子消費券的錯誤資訊，作出以下澄清。

錯誤資訊一：

以八達通卡領取消費券，必須先把儲值限額提升至3,000元。

事實：不需要。

以八達通卡領取第一期消費券時，儲值限額會自動提升至3,000元，市民毋須額外去辦理提升儲值限額的手續。

錯誤資訊二：

八達通建議市民買多一張八達通卡分開嚟領取政府電子消費券。

事實：不需要。

八達通歡迎市民沿用手頭上任何的八達通卡（包括實體卡、手機八達通卡及配飾等）登記及領取消費券，不限於指定或個人八達通卡，亦毋須額外申請新卡。

錯誤資訊三：

以長者八達通領取消費券，將不能享用2元長者公共交通票價優惠。

事實：絕對不是。

以長者八達通領取消費券，仍可如常繼續享用2元長者公共交通票價優惠。

Octopus Cards Limited Announcement

In view of the numerous misinformation spreading in the social media lately in regards to the Government Consumption Vouchers Scheme relating to the Octopus Card, Octopus Cards Limited hereby makes the following announcements:

Misinformation 1: Customer would need to upgrade the Octopus Card to a stored value limit of $3,000 before collecting
Fact: Not necessary. The stored value limit of the Octopus card would be automatically upgraded to $3,000 when the customer collects the first instalment. Customer do not need to perform the Card upgrade separately.

Misinformation 2: Customers are recommended to purchase a new Octopus Card for the collection of the consumption vouchers.
Fact: Not necessary. Octopus welcomes customers to use any of their Octopus card on hand (including physical Octopus Card, Octopus Card on Mobile and other Octopus ornaments) to register for Consumption Voucher Scheme. There is no requirement for a specific or personalised card, and no need to apply for a new card.

Misinformation 3: Customers using the Elder Octopus will not be able to enjoy the $2 Government Public Transport Fare Concession Scheme
Fact: Not true. Customers using the Elder Octopus will be able to enjoy the $2 Government Public Transport Fare Concession Scheme as normal.
